| Responsibilities |
This is a generalist, hands-on position with responsibility of overseeing all human resources activities at the location.
The individual will provide leadership and direction in staffing, training, compensation, organizational development and labor relations.
Provide expert advice on interpretation of the collective agreement, legislations and company policy and practices.
Work closely with the management team in resolving organizational and personnel issues. Co-ordinate payroll information and communicate with supervisors and payroll accountant to resolve payroll issues. Manage and maintain attendance, vacation, and group benefit programs.

| Requirements |
• BA/BSc. Degree
• CHRP designation or equivalent experience
• Over five (5) years experience in a unionized manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office and computer applications.
• Must have excellent people skills with the ability to coach and develop employees at various levels within the organization.
• Must be able to work independently and within a team environment with a high level of credibility and reliability.
• Ability to communicate effectively, and interact with departments at various levels of the organization
• Bilingualism in French and English is essential
